Dr. Gary Novack attended the conference, continuing a longstanding tradition of participation that now spans more than 40 ARVO annual meetings. Throughout his career, ARVO has served as an important forum for collaboration, scientific exchange, and presentation of emerging ophthalmic research.

During this year’s meeting, Dr. Novack presented two scientific posters highlighting ongoing ophthalmic research and innovation:

  • A collaborative project with recent UC Davis School of Medicine graduates examining FDA review times
  • Research involving a novel investigational treatment for pterygia

In addition to presenting research, Dr. Novack spent time meeting with colleagues, collaborators, and longtime friends within the ophthalmic and vision science communities to discuss current developments and future directions in the field.

ARVO remains one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to advancing research in ophthalmology and visual sciences. More information about the organization and its annual meeting can be found at ARVO Official Website.
